My surgeon's awesome

This is my favorite put-the-patient-at-ease quote ever!

My (male) Anesthesiologist: I'm sorry I keep poking around in your arm. It's just that I can't find a vein. Dr. Martin, look at how thin her veins are!

Dr. Martin (female): WOW! Those are tiny veins.

Marianne: I'm sorry! I can't help it. Everything about me is tiny.

Dr. Martin: Yeah... except for your "you-know-what"...

Anesthesiologist: You must me talking about her brains.

Now I finally found you.
How was the surgery?

It went really smoothly. It's about 12:30 at night right now, and I'm just barely starting to feel a little pain from it. It's good that I've gone all day without any pain, but I'm afraid to go to sleep because I think I'm going to wake up in the morning uber-sore. Yuck. I'll let you know tomorrow if I was right.

Hee hee... Boobs.

On a much more serious note, I hope the surgery went well, and I hope you wake up without any real bad soreness - been praying for you, girl.
