under the microscope Posted by Picasa

I was thinking of a slide I once saw of blood, where these platelets (or "blood pallettes", as I called them for a moment last night, until Garth gently told me that I probably meant "platelets") were all smooshed into a red gook with tiny little air bubbles

Marianne! I was thinking they looked like biology slides when you were drawing them last night! I was like, "Gosh, Marianne would have been a GREAT lab partner", but now I realize you wouldn't have b/c I was so bad at biology, I drew the slides and Mandy (my actual partner) did the lab stuff. If you and I were paired, we'd just fight about the drawing and not know anything about bacteria.

Incidentally, a friends sent me this quote, "Support bacteria - they're the only culture some people have". Ha!

Cheers,
Kim
